Big Al's Pizza was a local pizza restaurant based in Alaska. It has since been closed, but this advert was produced sometime in the late 2000s, assuring 2007.
Synopsis[]
Two guys are sitting in their living room, when one states that they're hungry. The other man suggests Big Al's Pizza, claiming they're the "best pizza in town". He agrees, and picks up the phone to dial.
The scene transitions to the door as it rings. One opens the door, when an animated owl flies in with the box, breaking and knocking everything over. The other guy says "You idiot! I said Big AL's Pizza, not Big OWL's Pizza!" which cues a laugh track.
Why It's Cursed[]
The CGI animation on the owl is so horrible and fake at spots. The laugh track at the end is pretty much making fun of itself, because of how awful the advert is. It has a resemblance to the notoriously bad film Birdemic, which actually came out three years after this was released. Compared to the film, this advert may be better though.
