East Hills Mall is a shopping center in St. Joseph, Missouri, it was founded in 1965 and features almost 50 stores. The mall gained infamy in 2014 when they made a commercial advertising their services for the back to school season, which ultimately went viral and appeared on a few talk shows.

Why It's Cursed[]
The commercial definitely went viral for the right reasons, and it's terribly lazy surprisingly for a rather big business. The "singers" in the commercial definitely can't sing, even though they try to attempt it, particularly the "haircut" girl and the "outfit" girl.
In addition to that, the production is lazily done, with the awful beat in the background that sounds like someone just spat on the microphone, and they also reuse some shots throughout.

- The "boots and pants" guy is named Tyson Huff-Garza.
- Chris Fleck directed the advertisement, which he also edited for cable operator Suddenlink's media advertising company. Fleck claims he wasn't surprised the commercial went viral because he intended for it to be famous in the first place, giving the impression it was bad on purpose. [1]
