A 2008 commercial for a new brand from a Polish food brand Delekta, a "Fisiel" kissel aimed at kids which was discontinued probably in 2014.
Synopsis[]
Fisiel (A anthropomorphic rabbit wearing a green shirt with leter F on it) comes to the home of a family (the house in a commercial is stylized on comic books) and starts eating a carrot, later a rabbit is dressed in a chef's outfit and cooks kissel for the family and says to them that "this fruity deliciousness has a carrot and natural ingredients", Rabbit changes his outfit to a tuxedo and gives the family bowls of kissel. After the family ate the kissel, Rabbit changes his outfits to resemble Michael Jackson and does the moonwalk, and the rabbit encourages and asks the family if they want another bowl of a Fisiel kissel and the commercial ends.
Why It's Cursed[]
- Fisiel's actor with paint on his face could terrify young viewers, The real life face was replaced with CGI one in later airings of a commercial in 2009 that you can see here.
- The commercial was also controversial because of a Michael Jackson reference (due to Michael Jackson's allegations of sexual abuse of minors), In later 2009 airings of a commercial, a reference was removed.[1]
- the dynamic and speedy appearance of the commercial, may have been distractive for the audience in Poland back in 2008 and become a subject of conspiracy theories, saying it contains subliminal messages and was created to cause epilepsy[2].
- When the family eats kissel, a rocket-like vehicle flies outside the window with comic style drawn people inside, facing straight into the camera, one waves his hand. The commercial shown here is in low quality and you can't really see their faces.
