Funny Boy is an ad for Pringles from 2000. It was directed by Aardman Animations, known for their stop motion creations such as Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep. The series is similar in style to their short series Angry Kid.
Synopsis[]
A boy with a clay-styled head is chewing on a Pringle whilst moving on a chair when his sister is seen hiding from behind it. She comes out running for the chip can when he quickly takes it and slams it back on the table, which makes the chip fly in the air and into the sister's mouth. It gets stuck in between her lips, and the boy starts to laugh until she breaks the chip apart making fangs in her mouth. She roars at the boy which startles him and makes another chip fly. Then a Pringle drops into his mouth which makes his lower jaw stuck open, until it slingshots back and hits his face making the sister laugh. He takes the can and starts mimicking a duck with chips in his mouth, when the sister steals the can while he's not focusing.
At the end of the commercial, she is seen running with the can, jumping and laughing as the boy chases her.
Why It's Cursed[]
The characters in the advert are horrifying, if not just flat out ugly.
