Kinder Bueno (2002, UK)

You've done it again Kinder!

A 2002 advert for Kinder Bueno with a rather strange vibe.

[]

It starts off with a man in a newsagent, looking for a "crispy" chocolate bar. He then spots a Kinder Bueno bar who wants to flirt with him. The bar starts speaking with a female voice, shaking and flying when it does. The bar then describes the flavour and textures while switching between shots of the man and the bar. After more prompting, the man gives into his temptations and grabs the bar, rips open the wrapper and takes a bite. The camera cuts to the cashier and then it shows shots of the bar being made. It shows a screen of the bar on the screen, with the tag line, “I’ll be whatever you want me to be" as the bar says it.

Why It's Cursed[]

The conversation with the man and the bar gives off a homosexual vibe. The moaning the man makes as he eats the bar also can be a bit suggestive. And the bar's movement is terrible. Also, the effects look like they were made in the 90s, despite being made in 2002. But luckily, there is an HD version.

Also, I swear the Bueno bar said "You can lick my nipples".

Trivia[]

  1. In the background, when it cuts to the cashier, you can see the iconic Ferrero Rogers logo.
  2. For some funny reason, this ad got 9 complaints from viewers of Cartoon Network and Boomerang. This was a mistake from Turner Broadcasting who confused it as a Kinder Suprise ad.
