A 2020 commercial for Fisher Price's Linkimals toy line with rather disturbing life-sized animals.
Synopsis[]
As a man exits his tree home, he is greeted by some life-size Fisher-Price Linkimals (Sloth, Moose and Hedgehog), which he starts to play with. A male announcer (Jason McKinnon) says we are all connected in the circle of life and we are learning colors together as the ad ends with a toddler playing with his own Linkimals.
Why It's Cursed[]
The unusually life-sized animals in the commercial could give anyone the creeps. A sloth says ''sloth'' in a disturbing voice. Not helping that his voice is provided by Chris Alan, who is a sound designer and music composer who worked in the Fisher-Price sound department from June 2013 to February 2019 and also known for voicing Franky Beats from the Bright Beats line.
