-Japan- Haruhi Gum Anime Commercial
Gum commercial that aired in Japan in 2010, featuring actor/singer/dancer Toma Ikuta and several anime characters.
Synopsis[]
Toma chews some gum as a walks into a store. Inside he asks the woman behind the counter about an item which is sold out. His breath from his gum causes the employee to transform into Mikuru Asahina from the anime/manga Haruhi Suzumiya, the store manager comes over and scolds Toma. She, too catches a whiff of his breath and transforms into Haruhi Suzumiya. Toma becomes freaked out and runs out of the store, when he runs into a trio of cats who turn into three versions of Yuki Nagato, another Haruhi Suzumiya character. Before the end the commercial an older woman catches a whiff of Toma's gum breath, but we don't see what she transforms into.
Why It's Cursed[]
Mainly do to the fact that it's from Japan and Japan is synonymous with weird commercials. The fact that one can have breath similar to a Midas touch that turns ordinary women and cats into cute, giggly cartoon girls could freak somebody out.

Lupin III Acuo Commercial
Toma comes face to face with Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon!
There is a variation on the commercial which features characters from another media franchise, Lupin III, with the women in the store turning into Princess Clarisse (from The Castle of Cagliostro) and Fujiko Mine and the three cats turning into the title character and his sidekicks Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII.
