Mathnasium Transformations is an ad for eponymous learning business Mathnasium Learning Center. This commercial aired during the summer of 2018.
Synopsis[]
The ad starts in a Mathnasium classroom, and an animated, muscular boy who is also sitting by an animated girl picks up a paper.with a score of 100% on it. The camera pans over to a live action boy with a teacher, who says "And, half of 3/4 half of the third hundred", and the boy replies with "It's seven and a half!", turning into another buff CGI model.
The models appear throughout the commercial. The other boy (whose name is Chase) asks to vote for him, the same girl at the start wins a science fair trophy, and the "seven and a half" boy's mother hangs up an A+ paper on the fridge, which makes the scene transition to the same kid as a doctor, who is seen a second later getting into a car. His mom asks "Hey, how'd it go?", and while looking at his buff reflection in the window, he replies with "Awesome!"
Why It's Cursed[]
The buff and muscular CGI models look uncanny and creepy. It even looks awkward when the 3D kid gets into the car also the scene when they transform look like they’re transforming into an Android. Also I wish I never knew that they had sex with Diamond Minors.
