- Despite this advertisement was made in France, it has been shown in other countries, such as Spain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Latin America.
- It has been rumored that Happy was influenced by the Minions from the Despicable Me film franchise. However it is uncertain how true this fact is, considering Despicable Me was first released a year after Happy debuted.
- In 2014, Happy was brought to the United States, where he received extremely negative reception. Thankfully, he was only the mascot for a about a year or two, and was removed around 2016. Nowadays, Happy is the McDonald's mascot for several European countries, such as the UK, Sweden, etc.
- This song featured a cover of Boom Shack-A-Lak by Apache Indian.
