Korean Love Hotel Commercial
In 2015, this Korean ad for a relatively unknown love hotel booking app named Moga surfaced on the internet, but not much else can be found about it due to the ad's language being Korean. This ad features an animesque turtle and a bunny, and alludes to The Tortoise and the Hare story.
Synopsis[]
In a beautiful and peaceful forest, a hare is seen bouncing along with a tortoise, who is also hanging out with the hare, until the turtle falls over, much to the rabbit's shock. However, while the turtle is on her shell, it's gleaming stomach is seen, as well as her "breasts". She gets embarrassed and covers them blushing, with the rabbit still looking at them shocked. His face changes creepily into human-like one with tricky stare at the audience. And the animated sequence ends with promotion of the app.
Shortly after, an animated sequence (which appears in a more simple design with colorless backgrounds) featuring Little Red Riding Hood walking to her Grandma's house, when she walks into the house with a buffed wolf in her bed, sweating. The wolf remarks with "Yoohoo!", making Little Red sniffle.
Why It's Cursed[]
For one thing, the ad definitely shows how weird commercials from Asia can be. At first, it seemed like a cute, happy-go-lucky cartoon, but then that quickly changed when the turtle fell down. The uncanny face change the bunny makes just shows he wants to have sex with the poor little tortoise. Also his face is realistic, being humanoid!
Additionally, the second sequence shows Little Red Riding Hood sniffling and sweating towards the wolf's alleged seduction towards her, but it is abrupt.
