"Sixty bucks for a game?" - Ouya ad

Whoa! Clean up at aisle you!

Ouya is an Android-powdered game console manufactured by Ouya, Inc. and was released in 2013. The console was discontinued in 2015 particularly due to lackluster sales and possibly bad reception, which caused Ouya, Inc. to lose their business, resulting in the Ouya assets to be sold to Razer, Inc.

On June 25, 2019, Razer ended support on the console, resulting in many of it's features and apps to shut down, however select games and apps could still possibly work.

Synopsis[]

In his living room, a man is looking at a game box (labelled Medal of Duty) and crying because he paid sixty bucks for the same game. Suddenly, he starts to vomit endlessly, and by the next morning his entire room is flooded with vomit. Then, he rips his tongue out of his mouth, even complete with part of his skeleton. He still complains and hits himself with the skeleton, squishing himself.

After that, a card says "Stop wasting cash on crappy games." and shows the console itself, with one final shot of the guy's beat up face saying "OUYA!".

Why It's Cursed[]

The imagery is very disgusting, as he's basically killing himself and getting sick over a stupid game. Also, the ad itself could be considered ironic, giving that the console has terrible reviews because of it's bad qualities. You would waste even more money by buying an Ouya for games you can play on your mobile device for basically free.

Trivia[]

It tries to aim at the Adult Swim/Newgrounds demographic but fails, because old people were CLEARLY behind this.
