Stop & Go was an online writing activity seen on the former website of PBS Kids Go!, a block much like PBS Kids that was aimed towards a slightly older audience, and was mainly aired weekday afternoons on PBS stations from 2004 to 2013. In 2013, a newer rebrand for PBS Kids was rolled out to stations, ultimately getting rid of the block. The Stop & Go game, however, was removed a few years prior to 2013.
On the Stop & Go game, kids could write their own story on the website after seeing a Stop & Go commercial to finish their own version of a particular story.
Synopsis[]
Maya begins by writing a story in which Arthur and Buster are walking outside when they see a fort and inside they find Binky cover in some kind of goo, which looks to be honey.
Maya then tells the viewers she wants them to finish the story and "What was Binky covered in and why?"
Why it's Cursed[]
It's good that they encourage kids to use their imaginations and come up with their own stories, but the fact that it involves Binky covered in a mysterious goo may be inappropriate (the main characters are MINORS, sickos) and may raise some eyebrows or cause some older viewers to make some inappropriate suggestions (how much money are you willing to bet that a few 12 year olds in the 2000s did this).
Trivia[]
- As Mentioned, The Stop and Go game is no longer available.
