Perfect Polly is a "motion-activated" parakeet, which claims to sing and chirp once one enters the room it is in and tries to mimic a real parakeet.
Synopsis[]
The infomercial starts with a little girl waking up, and when she hears the bird chirp she runs off and downstairs. She asks grandma if she has a pet, which she replies is her "singing parakeet". After that, the advert just explains about the model, and that real birds require too much care.
Why It's Anything but Perfect[]
While it is true that taking care of a bird may probably be too much work, it's megatons better than having a fake bird as a pet. The toy alone could become annoying, and all alone could be depressing to have. The whole product idea is laughable because of how bad it is.
