Pokemon Red & Blue Game Boy Commercial

This is a commercial for Pokémon Red and Blue for Game Boy from 1998.

Synopsis[]

The viewers see a neighborhood. And a school bus stops at a house. Then the school bus open its doors and the school bus driver --within the bus-- asks a yellow mouse Pokemon (named Pikachu) if he wants a ride. To which the Pokemon responds "Pikachu!" and climbs on. Then an announcer asks the viewers (watching the commercial), "WHERE CAN YOU CATCH ALL 150 POKEMON!?" (referring to the original 150 Pokemon from "Pokemon Indigo League"). Then The driver then takes the bus full of Pokémon to a compactor, pushes the button. The announcer says, "ON YOUR GAME BOY! THAT IS WHERE! POKEMON FOR GAME BOY IS HERE!". The bus is turned into a Game Boy with the Pokemon trapped inside. The announcer continues, "POKEMON FOR GAME BOY IS HERE! AND BOTH PACKS, YOU CAN CATCH THEM ALL! GAMES AND SYSTEMS ARE SOLD SEPERATELY!". After the bus driver transforms the school bus into a Game Boy, he plays "Pokemon Red and Blue" on it. (That is, forgetting that he is going to drive the Pokemon to school.) And the commercial then ends.

Why's it cursed[]

The bizarreness of this ad, the sadist nature of the bus driver, and the fact an entire bus can be squished into a Game Boy.
