Sublymonal Elevator

Well, that elevated quickly.

Sublymonal (subliminal) was an ad campaign by Sprite which launched in 2006. There were four ads of the campaign, one of them with a setting in an elevator.

Synopsis[]

The commercial has many fast-paced split second effects throughout, such as business people at the start quickly walking around and disappearing, and a green man appearing for a split second.

A woman at the start gives a man some money, and he goes in an elevator. The elevator numbers at the start light up quickly, and the door opens up to two people with green and yellow masks standing on a platform, one up and the other down. There are flowers nearby singing with lips. Next, the doors open again and a man shoots the guy with green and yellow power, with a "Lymon" screen appearing. A costumed mascot punches the guy, and the elevator flies up fast and eventually stops at the lobby. He tries to get out, but the doors halfway close on him, and two yellow and green sumos squish him with their bellies. The ad ends after a few quick clips appear.

Why It's Cursed[]

The commercial, like many other commercials for the Sublymonal campaign, are filled with random and unnecessary effects and things.
