The ad itself is pretty innocent, as it just features Jared walking to his beloved Subway for a sandwich. The voiceover says, "Here is Jared Fogle. You may have seen him on the news, or a talk show. He was inspired by Subway's great tasting sandwiches. Jared believes in an active lifestyle, including lots of walking. At the heart of Jared's routine are Subway sandwiches. At Subway, you can choose from several sandwiches, with just 7 grams of fat or less. And they all taste great. Food for thought. Subway. It's the way a sandwich should be." In between the voiceover, a young female Subway worker greets Jared.
Why It's Cursed[]
Although not cursed at the time, due to nobody knowing that Jared happened to be a pedophile, this ad didn't age well, and Jared's 2015 child pornography conviction as well as reports that he had (albeit consensual) sex with minors tarnished both Jared and Subway's reputation for a while (however, Jared's reputation as a monster is something he will never live down, but it doesn't matter, as you should have no pity for sick fucks like him). Ads featuring Jared tend to be cursed once one realizes Jared is a convicted child molester. To hell with the sick motherfucker anyway. He deserves only the worst, and he should get raped everyday in prison.
