This is a Special Time is a commercial for now defunct company Little Baby's Ice Cream, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mini company, which started out by selling ice cream on tricycles in 2011, gained national attention in 2012 with this bizarre online advert.
Synopsis[]
On a black background is a man made from vanilla ice cream, who scoops some ice cream off his "glistening skin" and occasionally puts it in his mouth, talking rather freakishly about how Little Baby's Ice Cream will make you do some random actions.
Why It's Cursed[]
The commercial is absolutely unnerving, with the human made from ice cream just staring into your soul and eating himself slowly, as well as her creep talk. The fact that the name of the brand is "Little Baby's" (little babies) doesn't help any.
Trivia[]
- The director, Doug Garth Williams, created a behind the scenes "FAQ" video of the commercial, explaining that Jet-Puffed marshmallow creme was used as opposed to extremely cold ice cream.
