A 2005 commercial for the British Mobile company Three Mobile that is very unpleasant.

Synopsis[]

The ad starts off with an Asian girl leaving school with a cake box with what looks like an unidentifiable fish-like character on the box's lid. Various children start seeking on the girl around an East Asian-inspired setting (As the girl is constantly opening her bottle).

The girl stops at a collection of red hanging cloths, where she opens the cake box revealing a delicious-looking dessert. She decides to eat the cherry first, but when she is about to eat the cherry, it starts singing the Chicago song "If you leave me now".

The girl them screams in fright and gives the cherry to another girl. The girl gets seduced by the cherry as it continues to sing the said song. The girl eats the cherry and the ad ends with the Three Mobile logo being shown in front of the red hanging cloths.

Why It's Cursed[]

Because of the singing cherry itself it's mouth even looks like a vagina and the fact that the cherry's mouth is on the stem doesn't help either. And the scene where the cherry is singing to the other girl is very sexual. And also, racist Chinese stereotypes.

Trivia[]

The fish-like character on the cake box Is called Bubbly according to some AI mumbo-jumbo thingy Rhys Whelan used.
